My Question or Issue

My wife and I use Spotify Duo. We have the speakers hooked up to a computer, windows 10, with spotify desktop. We play music from our phones using the Spotify App, and put it through the speakers using "Select a device" in the mobile app, selecting the computer.

 

The problem: I can play on the computer, but my wife cannot. The desktop app is logged into my account, but we have DUO so not sure why she can't see my devices.

 

How can you play on your DUO partner's devices?

We recommend letting your wife run a clean reinstall of Spotify on her mobile device. This will get her the latest app version and clean up the phone from corrupted data that could be causing this. 

 

If it persists after the clean reinstall, send us the exact make/model of her device as well as its OS version. It'd also be useful if you can send us some screenshots displaying the differences you notice. Just attach the images to your next response by using the Insert Photos option in the post editor. This way we can take a closer look at the issue and assist you further.
