Extremely stressful ads for people with PTSD

My Question or Issue

There is one extremely triggering ad about anti-vaping by the real cost. it starts out with people screaming in horror and it triggers my PTSD a lot. I have heard it many times and this time I vomited from panic. I seriously can't take this anymore. Besides paying for premium, is there any way I can get this ad to go away? I'm shaking as I type this. If it doesn't go away ill have to stop using Spotify

Hi! You should try reporting the ad in question to Customer Care. Go here and give them the following info:

The Spotify version you have

Your device/operating system info

What the ad is (company/product being advertised)

When you heard it (day and time, if possible)

Explain what the problem with the ad is

Hopefully that can help you not ever have to hear it again. 

Additionally, there is an idea thread here where you can vote for to be able to block certain ads. Although the OP of this idea is talking more about content it finds personally objectionable rather than legitimately triggering, the concept is still the same. Adding your vote can help get a better vehicle for stopping ads that affect you like this.

I completely agree. This ad is very disturbing and startles me when I listen to music. I don’t think it is appropriate for Spotify.
