My Question or Issue

Within the past couple weeks, my "Friends Activity" has gone completely blank. I've attached a picture. I can assure you they are listening to something and should be showing.  I'm not on a private session.

Thanks for the details everyone!

We've forwarded the info to our tech folks who'll investigate further. In the meantime, make sure you're always running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.

My Question or Issue

Hello,

The issue has been going on for a few months now.
My friends activity tab is completely gone and empty, even though I have it enabled and my friends are sharing their listening activity. If you see on the screenshot, there's even no "Friends Activity" title.
I need to unfollow and re-follow my friend to see their listening activity, but the tab is stuck and won't update.

Can anyone help, please?
I've reached out to the support team but nothing has worked.

My Question or Issue

Friends activity was working perfectly till last month or so but doesn't seem to work anymore i did not change anything with my pc.

When i unfollow and follow again one of my friends it shows their activity but it does not updates till i do the same thing or when i close the app all the friends activity is gone again...

i just got a new windows computer, and in the spotify settings it only shows Language and Display, which only has the now playing tab. why doesnt it show the friend activity?

so basically i cant open any profile, and at friend activity tab its just all blank.

Hey folks,

Thanks for all the info you've sent so far.

Those who are still experiencing this, would you mind trying to restart the app to see if you notice any improvement?

Keep us posted.

Hey there,

Thanks for posting in this thread!

@janicee - To make sure we cover all bases, as we haven't seen other recent reports about this, could you check if the troubleshooting steps mentioned earlier in the thread by @Yordan makes any difference?

Also, if you're using a Windows device, you can try with a different downloading source too (if you haven't already). For example, if you installed the app through Microsoft Store, you can try directly from Spotify. Feel free to have a look at the steps under Windows on this page for more details.

Should this behavior persist, would you mind letting us know the make & model of your device, along with the current app version? Feel free to include a screenshot showing how things look from your end as well, just make sure to not include any personal info.

Let us know how you get on!
