Fullscreen does not resize well on untypical aspect ratio!

Fullscreen does not resize well on untypical aspect ratio!

The Spotify-Apps fullscreen mode does not resize as it should when confronted with untypical aspect ratios (like my mini monitor 1280x400), as you can see below.

But if I use the Chrome extension for the web player it resizes as it should, probably because chrome has better resizing.

I really would like to you use the App more often in Fullscreen mode so any help is appreciated.

Hey @67jvvb73v6z5u68,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

Just to confirm, are you using a dual monitor set up? If yes, that kind of set ups are tricky because the monitors often have different resolutions and this can happen because the app might be dynamically resized based on the resolution that it thinks it's being run on. Either the graphic card or the operative system tries to eliminate any resolution differences between both screens, and it appears that this isn't synced with the app.

As this involves resolution switching and external hardware, we can't really provide a direct fix for it, as it really depends on the different setups and we can't optimize the app for individual usage scenarios and hardware, so the best way to go is to un-maximize (Restore down) the window and then re-maximize.

Hope this clears things up. If you need a hand with anything else, we're always a post away.

Take care!
