My Question or Issue

Spotify just opened its service and I enrolled Premium membership. I downloaded app for my Android phone and signed up using my Google account.

Today I downloaded windows desktop and tried to sign-in. However, on sign-in screen, I coudn't find login with Google account . Only it seems that only Facebook account was available. I wonder how to log-in.

Small other question is... can I write in Korean in this community?

Thanks.

Hi @user-removed,

Welcome to the Community!

Currently the Desktop version of the app is not available in South Korea. You can use the Web player to play music on your PC.

Regarding your second questions - You can write in Korean in the Community, however English is the official language as more users know English worldwide. Also, we might not be able to offer any help with Korean language questions and requests currently.

Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.

Thank you for answer.

1. Korean page says that offline listening is available after downloding
songs. However for person like me who use win 10 on laptop, this is not
true because web play does not support offline playing.

So I hope Korean site must mention this.

2. Korean page mentions that Win 10 is supported but many people who
downloaded desktop application have experienced similar issue. Please
mention "currently desktop application is not supported.". This is
important not to confuse and not to mislead people.

3. I wonder when win10 application (not web player) will be supported. With
desktop, as far as I know more higher bitrate than web player is supported
and this is important for a music community people in Korea. Note that I am
a member of music community of 60,000 people and higher bitrate with
desktop application is important for them.

Thanks.

Hi @user-removed,

Thanks for the reply!

We understand your concern, as offline songs are a vital part of the Spotify experience.

Right now we have no official info on when or if the Desktop version will be made available in South Korea. The developer team is constantly striving to improve the app on all platforms so the Desktop app might be something which is implemented in the future.

We value your feedback and have passed it on to the right team.

We're always a click away if you have questions.
