Help! My songs in playlista aren't playing or are skipping to random songs?

Hi all,
This has been happening for at least two days, but my playlists seem to be acting up. I've tried turning off Smart Shuffle, turning off Shuffle completely, and switching playlists, but it still has the same error. It will play the first song or a song from a playlist and then choose completely random songs that aren't in the playlist as if I were in a different one. Can anyone help me figure out what might be wrong?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Does this happen with specific playlists or all of them? Is it always the same songs showing up or is it completely random? Consider manually clearing the queue and seeing if that helps. If you have songs that you queued before, those will remain there even if you switch playlists.

Hi Joan,

 

Thanks so much for responding. It was only happening on my desktop (my app works fine). I tried a few playlists (it seemed to be happening with all the ones I picked), but it was the songs stuck in the queue! There were four or five of the same ones, but they'd still be there even when I restarted the application. I cleared them out, and they are working fine now.
