How can I install spotify on a different drive?

Solved!

How can I install spotify on a different drive?

I do not want spotify on my C drive, I would like it to install on my E drive.  When I install spotify it automatically goes to C drive and does not even give me an option to change this.  Is there a way to change it?

I don't think I can install it then from the solutions I've seen. Nowhere near enough space on my c drive to even get it downloaded then move it. I've been trying to clear off a little space but would be impossible right now if it's over 2gb of space.

This is more for choosing where to install it as opposed to the installation requirements. However, I only show 458MB of space used for my spotify folder but I don't have any music saved locally to my computer.

After uninstalling Spotify, then using your command i tried to install spotify but now it does not work!

This is in response to Montificus post and script. I realize this is an old thread, but I wanted to say thank you. I had to modify the script because the Description switch wasn't working for me, but I just typed my location directly into the script and that worked. Everything is on d: now and I'm very happy with that. I'm on win10 and I did have to jump through a couple hoops to allow scripts to run on it; but it really wasn't a problem. So thanks again!

But why should we have to do all of that?, if it is a service why don't they simply add that option to the launcher is not that hard.

Awesome script dude!  Worked like a charm!

you are a god, thanks ❤️
