How do I install the standalone version of the app in windows 10?

My Question or Issue

I would like to install spotify as a traditional program and not as a windows store app. When i ran the installer downloaded from spotify.com, it just converted itself to a store installation.

How do I get the original spotify back?

Do you have the Microsoft app installed when you try to download directly from Spotify.com?

We recommend that you remove all of your Spotify files before you try to reinstall.
