How do I, or when, will this horrible design change be removed?

It, subjectively looks bad (especially the border you get between the close button on the right and the rest of the window) and it is, objectively, slower.

This probably came from the same idea that Windows 8 came from, to make it better with tablets or to make it more "modern" looking.

I myself have a windows tablet, and I can gurantee you, this button just puts 1 more extra step of hassle into a touchscreen interface than needed.

Why can't we atleast turn it off?
