How do you import Groove music into Spotify

Microsoft has discontinued their Groove service and recommended I use Spotify. How do you import the music to the application

How do I move my music to Spotify?

An update to the Groove Music app is available for Windows 10 and Xbox One devices. Once the app is updated, Groove Music Pass subscribers will be able to move existing music collections and playlists to Spotify with just a few clicks. Groove Music Pass content will be available to move to Spotify until January 31, 2018.

I’m on a Windows 10 PC and can’t find a way to move my music. Where do I find instructions?

If you’re not seeing a notification to start moving your music, check that you meet these requirements:

You’ll need to be on the latest version of the Groove Music app. An updated version of the Groove Music app will be available by mid-October. Find out what version you’re on by selecting About in Groove’s Settings page. Check for a series of numbers that starts with 10.17083.----.-. If the five-digit number after the first decimal is not 17083 or higher, check the Microsoft Store for updates to the Groove app.

• You’ll need to be on a recent version of Windows 10 to update the Groove app. If you aren’t on the Anniversary Update or newer, get it here.
• You’ll need to have previously had a Groove Music Pass trial or subscription.

If you meet these requirements and aren’t seeing the notification to move your music, go to Settings in Groove and select “Move my music to Spotify”.
