How to Shuffle All Saved Songs

Solved!

How to Shuffle All Saved Songs

Plan Unlimited

Country USA

Device PC

Operating System Windows 10

My Question or Issue

When I don't know what I want to listen to I used to be able to select from the "Your Library" menu "Songs." This would list all the songs I had saved in which I could listen in shuffle mode until I heard something that would strike my interest. I am not seeing that listing to all of your saved songs is an option any more. Am I missing something or did Spotify once again make their product worse with another update?

Hey @rocket_fish, welcome to the Community.

Hope you are having a great time!

Nothing to worry! Spotify is undertaking some changes and Songs folder name is now Favorite Songs. Another change is that the + and Follow buttons are changed to a ♥︎.
You will be able to Follow artists and playlists by tapping that heart which will add the to Your library, but don't worry they won't be added to your Favorite Songs yet. When you open a playlist or when exploring an artisits page for songs you can tap ♥︎ again this time to save them in Favorite Songs.
Spotify has done this change to make one universal icon to add something to your library! ♥︎

Have a nice day!

Thanks @lorenXK. I just figured that out and went to update my post and saw your reply. Not sure I loooooove the whole heart thing. Seems to confuse the matter. Clicking the ... on the artist or album gives me the option to Save to my Library, but clicking on the ... on the song gives me the option to Save to my Favorite Songs. If they all save to the same place, why are they called something differently? More importantly, what was wrong with the way it was, it was pretty clear that way. Why confuse something that seems to be working good. I think Spotify needs to take these words of wisdom to heart, "If it's not broken, don't fix it." But once again, thanks for taking the time to reply to my post.

Hey @rocket_fish,

I found it confusing at first but as my last sentence on the first post said it was made to unfiy things.

Don't worry, you will get used to it. I already am!

If you click the heart on a playlist or artist profile it will just do the usual like it did always. While clicking/tapping the heart near songs will do again what the + did. The song will be added to your Songs now called Favorite Songs folder 🙂

If you need anything just give me a shout 😉

Have a nice day!
