I'm trying to open Spotify by clicking on my app on my desktop. All I get

is a black screen. Spotify works great on my iphone.

Could you try please try a clean install of the Spotify desktop app? It tends to fix most such issues easily.

My Question or Issue

This issue has been ongoing for several months now; it's getting a little bit annoying that the issue is marked as fixed and then ignored when it clearly isn't fixed.

I have just tried again to uninstall and reinstall and the issue is STILL NOT FIXED. This is getting ridiculous that this has persisted for several months now and it seems Spotify doesn't care about fixing the issue at all.
