Issue with Action Centre Music Display not updating with Windows 11

When I play music on my computer, the Action Centre in Windows is supposed to display a small add-on that allows you to view what's currently playing and control playback, such as pausing, skipping to the previous track or the beginning of the track, and skipping to the next track. However, I've noticed that this feature works correctly for a few tracks and then experiences issues, typically getting stuck on the last song that was playing. Microsoft have advised to restart Windows Explorer which does resolve the problem for a time, but always seems to return.

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the troubleshooting you've tried already.

As a next step, can you please check if reinstalling the app or using a different account makes any difference? If you're using the website version of the app, try the one from Microsoft Store and vice versa.

If this happens while using the web player, try clearing your cache and cookies and/or using a different browser.
