Hey @elo_joel

I'd suggest turning off Spotify's hardware acceleration. You'll see this option under menu dots - View. It will restart the client.

This looks like a graphics-related issue, so I also recommend ensuring your graphics software and Windows itself is up to date.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

I turn off the hardware acceleration, and the issue still remains.
Also, the issue is happening on my notebook Dell XPS as well (with Windows 10 x64).

I think it is an universal issue on Windows 10.

As you can see on the attached image, when i re-open the app, the icon are on the cover-screen state, but that isn't true.

Is your Spotify client installed from the Spotify website or Windows Store?

I don't get this issue when I minimize and maximize the Windows Store version of Spotify.

If yours is a standalone version, I suggest trying out the Windows Store version. You can get it right here.

Let me know how you get on 🙂

I have the standalone version, i don't like the Microsoft Store apps, i think that issue should be resolved.

But, i gave it a chance, and installed the Spotify from the Microsoft Store, same result, same issue, hahaha.

It is a very annoying issue and it gives a fragile app sensation, it's strange that they haven't fixed it.
