Thanks for the post.

It's a bit unclear what you mean with this and it would be great if you can explain exactly what the issue you're seeing is.

Since both the Queue and Lyrics tabs open up in a new window within the Spotify app, it's normal that the icon highlight changes, as only one of those tabs can be active at a time.

I think it should not return to Lyrics tab when you close Queue tab, because it is already closed by switching on Queue tab previously.

Thanks for the post.

This is how the app functions right now, if you've opened both Lyrics and Queue tabs they'll stay open and you can toggle between them. 

We've passed your feedback on this to the right folks at Spotify who are working on making the app more user friendly 🙂
