LOCAL FILES NOT SYNCING TO IPHONE 7

Hi,

So for the last few weeks I was able to synch my local files (held in iTunes folder) from my computer to my phone with problem - I could add them to a playlist and they would play fine on both devices. Tried to add a couple of tracks yesterday and now all the local files are greyed out on my phone and I can’t play them. They work fine on my my laptop. Contacted Spotify customer help, they didn’t know the answer, I’ve re-installed etc but still no luck. Can anyone help??

To start, can you let us know what operating system, and version of Spotify you're using on your iPhone and desktop? Also, what's the model of your iPhone?

Spotify supports .mp3, .m4p, and .mp4 audio files. Could you let us know the source of this songs? Some downloaded tracks might not have the right metadata, and it might interfere with Spotify's local files. If you got this track from a CD, let's try importing it once again using .mp3 as the wanted format.
