My Question or Issue

On my home pc, I edited metadata of my local files so they would show up in my spotify library, replacing songs which were previously unavailable (grayed out). Now I copied these exact same files over to my laptop to listen to them. However, these files now only show up in my local files, not actually replacing the unavailable, greyed out tracks. This means the unavailable tracks in my spotify library are still unavailable, unlike on my home pc.

How do I fix this?

Cheers

Hello @user-removed!

Unfortunately this feature was removed from Spotify. You can find the info regarding this from here.

Hope this helps.

But why was this feature removed? Many of us rely on it and by removing it, it's going to be really troublesome for us to re-organize our playlists.
