fullscreen button not showing

the fullscreen button next to the miniplayer button doesn't appear. but on the spotify web the button appears

when you dont need the offline function or the equalizer you can use the web player, there is the old fullscreen mode available

As of recent updates, fullscreen has changed on desktop. It is now available in "now playing" view and does not feature lyrics.

This is a regression: Fullscreen lyrics had been integrated as part of a popular feature requests years ago

I am asking for lyrics to be available once again for all devices.

1,000% agree I don't like that the full screen button isn't in the bottom right-hand corner anymore either. also, not a fan that the pause button doesn't pop up when moving the mouse on the screen anymore after it being idle (you have to click on the screen to get the player menus to pop up). Currently I'm not a fan at all. especially the slide animation while on the same album, I can get going to something completely different but on the same album? that's unnecessary.

My Question or Issue

Hello, I see the fullscreen button has been replaced by the picture-in-picture button, and I found no way to enable fullscreen. Is it once again a good feature that Spotify removed for no reason or did I miss a button somewhere ? I tried F1 to F12 keys and even looking inside the app parameters but any mention of a fullscreen mode is now completely gone.

You guys had no reason to ruin the old fullscreen with a dim artist background and a small square photo of the album cover along with the song title and artist. That was perfect and aesthetic. The new one is ugly as **bleep** and proves no benefit over the last one and is actually a parasite on its own. I don't want to see the spotify UI (playbar, title bar with the X / minimize buttons, or anything. I DONT WANT TO SEE IT. WHAT IS THE POINT OF FULL SCREEN IF IT'S NOT GOING TO GO FULL SCREEN AND DISPLAY A CLEAN LOOK. I don't understand how you guys can have a perfect feature and then somehow ruin it thinking you're doing something that the community wants when literally nobody asked for it.

In some good news, it now correctly seems to keep the screen on (ignore power saving) when playing in full screen mode. Otherwise completely agree with everyone that the new full screen is a big step back UI and functionality wise. Why not allow us to see artist AND album at the same time? It was way more attractive in general before.

So fullscreen is now accessible in the "now playing" view, but no longer displays lyrics in fullscreen. Can you please bring this feature back?

This is really annoying, it was much better where it was before because it was just one button now I have to navigate to it, not a great user experience. Also when full screen it doesn’t look anywhere near as nice as before, I’m on an iMac and it used to look superb with the artist image in the background. Really disappointed in this ‘upgrade’ please change back!

Hello everyone, I noticed that the fullscreen button in the bottom right corner disappeared with the latest update, but I wasn't too concerned because it is still accessible from the "Now Playing" menu. The problem, however, is that the fullscreen function for lyrics has been completely removed, as it is no longer available, either from the 'Now Playing' menu or by first switching to fullscreen and then clicking on the lyrics. Essentially, a perfect feature, with lyrics that are clearly visible, large, and flawless scrolling mechanics, song previews, excellent design and functionality, has been eliminated! I really hope it will be reintroduced as soon as possible in the Desktop/Windows app, as it can currently only be accessed via a web browser.
