Message "Spotify has opened automatically, ..." keeps coming back

My Question or Issue

In the desktop client, a message saying "Spotify has opened automatically, but minimized. If you prefer you can open Spotify automatically without it being minimized or not open Spotify on start up at all."

The underlined text is clickable. When I click not open Spotify on start up the message disappears, but comes back soon after. How do I get rid of it, and how do I actually make sure Spotify no longer starts up automatically on start up?

Some additional information:

The message comes back when a new song starts to play.

My advanced settings are as follows:

I don't know why, but it seems to have resolved itself.
