Missing local files option with premium subscription?

I have premium Spotify subscription, but I'm unable to find the "Show Local Files" option under the Settings menu. It's fine yesterday, but now the option is missing along with some option on the left hand bar. Was there any update I'm not aware of?

Hey there @TachyonFlash ,

It looks like you are currently part of a test that Spotify is currently running with it's desktop experience. Spotify is always running tests and looking to improve the user experience in as many ways as possible, you can learn more about testing at Spotify here. Therefore right now you may have missing or new features.

Right now, it's not possible to opt-out of these tests however if your not happy with the new experience I'd recommend adding a +VOTE here to show your interest to Spotify to returning back to what you had previously.

That is not an answer to the question, you refer to some information page with a lot of news stuff. Where are we supposed to find the features that have disappeared ?

I really do not understand why Spotify is not transparent about this local files issue:
Some replies of their side even mention that it has been removed (temporarily ?) for testing purposes, but that you can vote for it as a new feature ????
They must have a very low image of your customers, do they think we are a bunch underperforming school kids ?
If you removed the local files option from the app, and not planning to put it back, just say so !
It would be polite from your side, if you add a reason as well, but I guess now I am asking too much.
