Mobile 'liked songs' not syncing to songs in desktop library

Title basically says it all. This started happening a little over a month ago. What's the problem?

Only signed up to post the same thing, getting really sick of this. I've seen threads before telling you to switch both devices to offline mode and then remote play them from one device and save them on the other but it's not good enough. It really shouldn't be that difficult and I never had this problem with Apple Music. It might be time for me to switch back.
