Moving playlists OUT of folders

Hi, I accidentally managed to put a playlist in the wrong folder and now I'm unable to move it back to the "playlists"-tab. I do this on a laptop and what I had to do in order to get the playlist out of the folder was to drag the name of the playlist and hold it over the "new playlist" button and make a new playlist of it (a copy). Then I had to put the copy playlist in the desired folder and delete the original playlist which was put in the wrong folder. 

My question is then: why can't I just drag the original playlist back to the "playlists"-screen (and out of the folder I put it in). Why can't putting a playlist in a folder be undone? Can you make a "remove from folder" button or something? 

That would be lovely.
