Music keeps stopping after 20 sec

First of all, I'm sorry, english is not my first language. I will try my best to explain what is the problem.

My spotify won't play music. It starts to tilt after ~20 secs. Music stops, plays, stops, plays... Internet connection is just fine, that shouldn't be the problem.

It did the same thing couple months ago and if I remember right, it started to work after uninstalling and installing the program again. Now I have tried the same thing but it doesn't help.

I don't understand what is the problem. I have an older Windows (I think it is 8), could that be somehow the reason why it is doing that?

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues enjoying your favourite music!

I see that you have tried some troubleshooting but please try to follow the steps listed below:

1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.

That way you will remove some files that may prevent Spotify from working as it should even after you reinsall it.
