Music started automatically playing when I paused my music on my android phone

Hi,

I listen to a lot of death metal. I was listening to some on my way to work on my phone, and then once I got to my office, I paused the music and it started playing on my desktop computer............................... out loud in my office...

Is this a bug? I think I may have to uninstall Spotify if that's the case. That was embarrassing.
