Need to reinstall app to update playlists

My Question or Issue

Basically in the PC app, from time to time, playlists "freeze". If i add or remove songs from other devices it doesn't update on the PC app. I tried clearing cache, restarting the PC but the only thing that works is to uninstall and reinstall the app EACH TIME this happens.

It's frustrating because even the settings reset and i need to reconfigure everything everytime.
