New Version

One of my friends has received the new version fo spotify which is 1.1.55.498.gf9a83c60-a. He downloaded spotify from the microsoft store and me either. However i don't have the new version like him. Instead i've got 1.1.55.498.gf9a83c60 (microsoft store version). What does the -a at the end of his version mean and how could i get it? thank you

The refreshed Spotify interface is currently being introduced to desktop devices (and the web player). It's indicated by the -a at the end. 

As it's not yet fully rolled out for all users, I'd recommend keeping your app up-to-date and you should get the new experience soon!
