New .mp3 files won't sync to desktop app Local Files

My Question or Issue

I have around 200 local files currently synced with my Spotify desktop app. I have around 10 more I'm now wanting to add, however they are just not syncing at all.

 

I've tried adding multiple new Sources, restarting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting that appdata file. Nothing is working, incredibly frustrating...

 

Does any have a fix for this at all?

Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one.

 

It's also a good idea to try with another network to check if that makes a difference.

 

In case you get an error message you can send us a screenshot of it. We'll look into this further.

Hey sorry this didn't work. No error message, Local Files still just does not hold my new music despite the reset

Thanks for the info.

 

We'd suggest you try with another network to see if that helps.

 

It's also a good idea to try with another account to see if that makes a difference. Are there any changes?
