Only 249 local files seem to load. Is that a normal limitation? Library Win

So, I have found out how to check mark the local files as well as turning it off and back on while restarting the app to rescan; however, my issue is that I have some 3000+ local music files. All from iTunes, Google Music (previous life), and now mostly used in VLC. I had hoped that with the premium plan that I would be able to add my music library or at the very least easily match it to original songs. However, it appears that only 249 not 248 and not 250; but exactly 249 every time files are loaded. The app appears to stop at the same song every time.

So, is this a known limitation or is something specifically wrong with that song that is somehow breaking the import process from my local folders?

You could try resetting the local files' settings on your PC by following these steps to see if that does the trick:

1. Fully close the Spotify app (make sure it's not running in the Task Manager) and go to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\.
2. There you'll find a file called prefs, which holds info about the currently logged in account. Simply delete it.
3. While in the Spotify folder, you'll also find a Users folder. Open it and delete its contents as well.
4. Restart the Spotify app, turn local files back on and add your source folders again.
