My Question or Issue

1. See first picture. I have scrolled down a bit in my list of playlists, and now I going to click on the arrow at Downland to open this subfolder inside the main list.

2. This is the result. The list "rattles" for a second and then scrolls up almost to the top.

3. If I scroll down again, I do see the Dowland folder open. If I try to close it, the same bad behaviour is seen.

This bug has been there for a month or so. I am always using the latest version of the tool on desktop.

Hi there @bosi,

Thanks for posting here in the Community!

So we can investigate this issue further, it'd be great if you could let us know the following details:

  • Does the issue persist on another device and in the Web Player?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far such as a clean reinstall?
  • Does it only happen with this folder or with others as well?
  • Can you by any chance try with another Spotify account (a friend or family member's account)?

Keep us in the loop.

Thanks for your reply.

The problem seem to be isolated to one laptop. It comes and goes, and i behaves different depending on where I am in the library (that is, it scroll up a different amount).

It do not see in the web player, but I don't use it normally.

I do not see in desktop on an older laptop with Windows 10 (same version of Spotify).

I have not tried another account, but it is probably related to a certain number of folders and playlists.

I will not do a clean install unless you can guarantee that this is the problem. And if you can, you need to fix that bug, so I will not do a clean reinstall, but I can wait for a normal update. You need to fix eventual bugs in your installation then.

Hey @bosi,

Thanks for your reply.

We can't guarantee that a clean reinstall will fix the issue and right now, we can't give an ETA for a fix, however, we do appreciate you taking the time to report this.

We'll be here if there's anything else you wish to address!

Cheers,
