PC app doesn't show up in spotify connect

My Question or Issue

 After doing almost nothing spotify pc app acts like offline. What i mean by this, is i can't use spotify connect on it altough i can on browser spotify app. Can't use play together on discord. It also does not share my status on discord. Tried reinstalling multiple times and it solved nothing. 
Edit: Play together works on spotify browser app.

Having the same problem too starting from 2019. My Google Home and phone are synced together, but my desktop won't appear in Spotify Connect. Also, I'm able to play two different songs at the same time, with the same account: one on my PC and one on my Google Home/Phone

I'm having the same issue, reinstalling the app on pc fixes it but after a PC restart it goes back to not working. I found a really old thread discussing the same problem.
