Playlist covers are extremely high contrast

Playlist art that I upload to Spotify is extremely high contrast. Any known fix?

I'm using Windows 10.

So I tried lowering the contrast in Gimp to compensate, and it came out in true colour. Really weird. I assume it's something to do with the way Illustrator is exporting the original file, I'm going to keep experimenting.

In the meantime, here's the really hacky fix for anyone in the the future having the same issue: open the file in Gimp and export it again.
