My Question or Issue

hello i have been using spotify for some time now and i use the "close button minimizes spotify to system tray" feature but recently when i open it from system tray the window isnt covering the screen althogh it is maximized and there is a white line on top like shown in the attachment i tried reinstalling i even had to factory reset my pc and i just installed spotify and the issue is still there so help would be appreciated.

thx for the help but reddit is the real hero
yall say update windows and hardware acceleration and stuff but the problem
is with the windows update so u run it in compatibility for older windows
and its fixed ez pz

Hey @INFIMIX

 

That's weird! Does it disappear when you disable "close button minimizes spotify to system tray"?

 

You can try disabling Hardware Acceleration by going to Spotify - Meny dots - View - Hardware acceleration.
The client will be restarted.

 

Also, make sure that all Windows updates are installed, especially those for drivers.
