My Question or Issue

My playlist won't update as my title stated. I have a playlist which is just a publizised version of my likes that my friends listen to and as of recent, I haven't been able to update the 3,000+ song playlist no matter what I do. I press CTRL+A to mass select all of my liked songs and then I add them to my playlist, titled "oofkal", however when I've done this recently and go to look at my playlist on any other device that isn't the Windows 10 PC I added the songs from and none of the songs get added. I thought at first that it was because I was mass-adding 3,000+ songs into a playlist but that didn't seem to be the case, no matter how many songs I added or what song I added it wouldn't seem to work. I've tried reinstalling Spotify, logging out on both devices, and anything that I've managed to pick up from threads similar to this has been to no avail. When I add songs on my iPhone it updates on all devices instantaneously yet for some reason when trying with the desktop app or web player it doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I can't mass-add songs on iOS and my only means of doing so doesn't work. I just want my friends to be able to listen in peace without so many technical issues over such a simple task. Please help and take a closer look at the desktop app and it's synching capabillities.

Hey @kalLMAO,

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the troubleshooting you've already tried. We're sorry to hear you're having trouble adding songs from your desktop device. We'll do our best to help.

As a next step, can you please try adding all songs to a new playlist and testing again if the changes made from your desktop get reflected on other devices? This way we'll know if the issue is caused by the playlist itself or the number of tracks added (which generally shouldn't be an issue at all).

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for the suggestion but that was one of the first things I tried, I simply forgot to mention it in my original post. It doesn’t matter the playlist or song, it just doesn’t sync from desktop.

Hey @kalLMAO,

Thanks for your reply.

Do changes to the playlist you've made on your phone get reflected on your desktop? If not, this might mean you're logged in to a different account on your desktop.

Another thing you can try to narrow down the possible cause is to add a few songs on desktop, log out and back in and see if the changes were saved.

Keep us posted.
