Podcast Playlist Showing Played Episodes When Filtered to Only Show Unplayed

My Question or Issue

Podcasts that I listen to are still showing up in my list after I have listed to them. I have the setting to only show unplayed podcasts but there are played podcasts in the list. Please see the screen shot attached.

Having the same issue on my MacOS app and on the iOS app - it's getting pretty annoying to have a useless option to sort by unplayed episodes. Really hoping to see a fix soon!
