Great news: the playlist preview issue should now be fixed - just make sure you're running the latest version of Spotify.
As for the video not playing in full screen mode, this is being investigated in another thread - check it out and give the workaround in the Status update a try to see if that does the trick for you too.

I've tested this out on my end and was also able to reproduce the first issue you described with the Mute button not working properly and have reported both the scenarios you mentioned to our tech folks. Will make sure to let you know once we hear back from them and have any info to share.

Quick update that our tech folks are still looking into this. While we're unable to provide an ETA for a fix at the moment, you can try muting the app via the volume slider in the Now Playing Bar as a workaround for the time being - that should do the trick.

Also, make sure you're running the latest version of Spotify so you don't miss out on any updates.
