Review of a Feature I had Temporary Access To...

I recently experienced a fantastic new feature on Spotify's desktop app that significantly enhanced my playlist-building process. This feature allowed me to listen to short samples from the middle of songs recommended for my playlist, rather than starting from the beginning. This made it much quicker to determine if the song matched the vibe of my playlist. Additionally, the feature provided a convenient button to add songs directly to the playlist, and after adding a song, three new recommendations would appear in its place, keeping the suggestions dynamic and relevant.

Unfortunately, I lost access to this feature and contacted @SpotifyCares on Twitter to find it again. They informed me that it was a new feature I had limited access to, and recommended I make a post about it on this website. This streamlined experience saved me considerable time and made music discovery much more enjoyable. I hope Spotify fully rolls out this feature, as it greatly improves playlist creation and the overall user experience. Thank you for considering this feedback. I want this feature back so badly!!

I agree with this. That feature was very good. I didn't realize they removed it until i saw this post. I could choose a list based on genre, i like almost all songs it recommended and it also played just the right part of those songs making it extremely easy to confirm if i like it and which playlist to add it to! 

An interesting sidenote is that (i am not 100% sure) but i think this feature was available to me much more recently than you. I believe i used it last sometime around 2-3 months ago. I think Spotify is testing it on different groups of people at different times. I hope they keep it and bring it back soon.
