Saving long play queue to playlist doubles size

Saving long play queue to playlist doubles size

This is a weird one:

I use a long play queue as a songs I need to listen to list. And due to the play queue resetting without warning with the forced spotify updates the queue is cleared. Therefore each time I finish listening for the day I save the queue as a playlist. This has worked fine for a year or more.

However last week or two if I save the queue by marking all songs in the queue and saving it as a playlist, the playlist is saved but the number of songs more than doubles. My queue usually varies between 900 and 1100 songs, currently it is 910. What is actually added to the playlist are the 910 songs + the "Next Up" songs currently 16 (even though they are not marked) + the 910 songs again, to a total of 1836 songs in the playlist. This is something that have recently started happening and I can't find any cause of it.

If I do half the queue it is even worse, then it triples for some reason, the selected part of the queue is repeated 3 times in the playlist. However if I do a small section of only 10-20 songs it is created correctly.

This also happens if I clear the queue and create a fresh long queue and try to save it.

Anyone have any ideas or solutions?

-Kevin
