My Question or Issue

I have an issue with new features of updated Spotify.

First, this is an option that was previously only available for Spotify Premium users, I previously used it, but now it is also available in Spotify Free, and it does not work here. No matter how I change it to Quiet/Normal/Loud, the sound volume does not change as it was before. I tried restarting Spotify, change to other music, it plays on all modes the same for me.

Second - The tab with "Local Music" disappeared, previously it was near the "Liked Songs" tabs, and I could see all the music that I threw into one of the selected folders in the settings

Thanks for reaching out.

Let us know if these issues persist once you've performed a clean reinstall on the affected device. We recommend this step since it'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and remove any corrupted files from previous installations. 

We noticed also that you've written that you're using Spotify free. Keep in mind that importing local files is a Premium feature, you can find out more here.

Reinstalling the app doesn't do anything, I've already tried it. The problem with volume normalization remains. Importing local files is not a Premium feature, I had it before, and it is now just located in "Your Library" instead of being a tab like before

We apologize for the confusion, we though you we're referring to the Local Files section missing from the setting of the app. As for your feedback on the Volume level feature -  we've reported it to the right folks, who will happily take a closer look.
