My Question or Issue

Hi, yesterday I decided that I want to share my local files from my Windows 10 laptop to my Android 10 phone. So I did everything the tutorial on this page wanted me to do and after a while, the download started. However, three of the songs seem to be unable to be played on desktop (even though they're all from one legally purchased album)

That's one of the problems. The second one is, that the download started on my phone and it went pretty fast, until like half of the album. Then it gets stuck and it looks like this

I really don't know what to do anymore (I tried checking firewall, free space in phone, changing format of the songs and nothing worked).

I hope someone can tell me what's wrong and how to fix it.

Hey there @TommyKnapy,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community! Don't worry we're here to help.

In this case we'd recommend that you perform a clean reinstall on both your laptop and your smartphone. You should then be able to import all your songs, provided they are from an official source and in one of the supported formats. You can check these out here.

It would be a good idea to also check the hosts file on your Windows device for Spotify entries.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on your progress.

Have an awesome day!
