Sometimes the song playing in playlist doesn't match song actually playing

Noticed this on a Spotify official playlist: https://imgur.com/XkiS2qb
Notice the song in green on the main browser window doesn't match the song in "Now Playing".

I think this has to do with playlists updating; I must be playing a previous version of the playlist that isn't present anymore, but cached on my client locally

Is this issue present only on the desktop version of Spotify and have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far :?
If not, we'd first recommend clearing the app's cached data.
If that does not help, force an app sync by logging out & in two times in a row.
In case the issue does persist even after that,  we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app and then restarting your device for good measure.
