Song/sound doesn't match actual track

My Question or Issue

This is a bit of a weird one, and I'm not really sure how I can can better word the title.

A bunch of tracks on my spotify 'daylist' are all playing the sound of 'La La Land' by Bryce Vine when I'm shuffling through them on PC, but when I play the same daylist playlist through my phone, it plays the actual track.

this is now the 2nd time it has happened to me, and both times around 75% of the songs in my daylist have been affected. Force closing/exiting Spotify from my system tray has fixed the issue both times, but still an annoying bug.

I have attached examples to better explain what I mean.

UPDATE: the issue repeated 2 more times until the song I was hearing changed to 'Rise'  by Gawne, at which point I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, where the song changed again, to 'Hologram' by Poe the Passenger. I know I've listened to both 'La La Land' and 'Rise' before, as I have them in my own playlists, but I can't recall ever having heard 'Hologram' before.

The issue has also now occurred in both a song radio (Saddy Daddy-O, by Artimus Wolz), and my own playlists.

Seems like you're having an issue worth investigating.

You should try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully that'll fix the issue. 🙂
