Songs still play even after 'Got it we won't play that song again'

My Question or Issue

I play the radio for one of my mixes and it repeatedly plays the same ~30 songs, even though I have specifically clicked 'Got it we won't play that song again' MULTIPLE times on each song. They will not stop popping up and it is driving me absolutely insane. I am so tired of hearing these same exact songs over and over again.

Make sure you run a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device since this will refresh your account data and synchronize your preferences. Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall depending on the device in use.

Tip: Once you’ve performed the clean reinstall you'll need to re-download your offline music and podcasts. 

If you see no change after the clean reinstall, we recommend checking the hosts file on your PC for entries that need to me removed. Follow these steps to clean up the hosts file.
