My Question or Issue

When I try to play songs after startup spotify just flicks through the songs rapidly and says song can't be played. I have searched the forums and found a fix that works. I go to sound, change default output to my Oculus rift headphones, press play in spotify and while music is playing change the default back to my speakers and it works. However every restart I have to do the process again.

It's worth noting no hardware changes, It's worked fine for about 3 years then all of a sudden this issue has occured.

Any help would be appreciated.
