Space Bar Glitch

Just started today. but whenever I press the space bar outside of the spotify window such as you know anytime you need to type a sentence my music will continuously stop and start. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and tried to look for somewhere where you can possibly change the play hotkey but no luck, please spotify devs make it possible for us to change the hotkeys at least as a fix, It seems to be other people experience this problem as well and haven't found a solution please help.
