Spotify Connect - Multiple Speakers/Devices

Hello, 

Ive had trouble consistently connecting to the office Sonos devices using the Spotify app. Both apps are running on a PC. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling both, reauthorizing the connection. In the Spotify app under connect devices, id say about 2/3 of the time the Sonos devices do not show, while 1/3 they do. Whats going on? We do have 4 Spotify accounts linked into Sonos, however, even when i make my account active and playing through Sonos, it does not show up in Spotify. 

 

When i start to play music from the Spotify app in my phone it immediately shows up as a device on the desktop app.

 

Am i missing an important step?

Hoping for a solution.

  • I'm having the same problem.  Did you try the Spotify help ?

Spotify help? From my understanding they only offer basic solutions and most of the time they end up saying uninstall and reinstall the software. This isnt really "help". So i will wait until the team responds. I have also started a thread in the Sonos Forum 🙂
