Spotify Desktop and iPhone not syncing the currently played song.

Spotify desktop does not seem to recognize that my iPhone is playing a song. The mobile device does not show up on the 'Connect to a device' feature and two different songs can be played on the two devices at the same time. I want it to be synced as usual.

- Both devices are on the same wifi network.
- Tried reinstalling already.
- Both devices have the same account (premium) logged in.
- Windows 11 Spotify Desktop & ios 15.5 iPhone

This sounds like an unexpected situation and it's good that you've done some troubleshooting already! Indeed for the Connect functionality to work properly, all devices must be using the same local network. It's indeed good to be sure you're not logged with a secondary account on one of your devices. You've also said that you've already tried reinstalled your apps, however we suggest you to repeat this process, but following the steps in this guide here, as they will ensure there is no cached-data that can be causing troubles.

If the above doesn't help, then please return with a short video of the situation and also the exact versions of Spotify (installed on your desktop and mobile) where you observe this issue.
