Hey there @Boiga

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.

Most common issues can indeed be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way you can start afresh with Spotify on your PC.

Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall on the affected device.

If it doesn’t do the trick, we’ll provide you with further help.

We'll look out for your reply.

Sadly it didn't work

Hey @Boiga,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Just jumping in to double-check if you already tried the Spotify app directly from the Spotify website (as opposed to the Microsoft Store one)? If you haven't, it'd be great for you to go to www.spotify.com/download.

As a heads-up, upgrading to Windows 10 could also be a solution since that will make it easier for the PC's operating system to run with the newer, more recent versions of the app.

Hope you'll find this useful. We'll look out for your updates and are always available if there's anything else we can help with!
