Spotify for Windows won't play local files

I have two albums saved locally on my laptop which I'd like to play through Spotify. One of them plays just fine every time, whether from the "Local Files" section or when in a playlist. In the other album, however, no songs will play and Spotify displays an error message which says "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." This is weird, because the file is on my computer, that's where Spotify is getting the song info from, and right clicking on one of the songs allows me to navigate to the folder containing the music file. I have tried deleting Spotify's local files cache, and I have tried resetting the local files sources in Preferences, but nothing will allow these songs to play. I have also added all of these songs to a playlist, which also refuses to play the songs from both my desktop and my phone. What do I need to do to get this to work?
