Spotify homepage and search not loading when connected to multiple displays

Spotify homepage and search not loading when connected to multiple displays

Basically just the title. I am using my work laptop to listen to music on spotify and am experiencing an issue where if my laptop is connected to multiple displays (using a docking station), the homepage, search, "What's New" and friends listening is stuck on loading. However, when I unplug my laptop from the docking station spotify seems to fix itself. This issue is only recent (last month or so) and Spotify previously worked fine. Any suggestions? I have tried deleting the app and clearing all the cache etc

Hey there @Quinn79,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

Just to check, does this only happen on your work computer? Please note that sometimes work-related equipment may have some limitations due to internal company restrictions, which Spotify cannot influence, and these restrictions may affect the app's processing.

What you could try, however, is turning off hardware acceleration. You can do this in the app settings > scroll down > switch off Enable hardware acceleration. You can also try running the app in compatibility mode to see if it makes any difference.

Another option is giving the Web Player a shot, to see if it works better on your computer.

We hope this helps! If you need anything else, just let us know.
