Spotify ignores settings and doesn't save changes 1.0.69.336.g7edcc575

Solved!

Spotify ignores settings and doesn't save changes 1.0.69.336.g7edcc575

Seams to be the same problem that many others have and nothing I've tried makes any difference. Enabling crossfade and setting duration does nothing other than change the toggle to green, how pretty, but totaly useless. It does not crossfade. It also forgets that the crossfade toggle has been enabled, every time I check.  It is the same for volume levelling. Very frustrating. Uninstall/reinstall, run as admin etc. nothing makes any difference. Spotify just doesn't work properly.  Added to the flat unalterable sound (no equalizer adjustemts) it's really a very poor player. Definately not worth paying for, atleast for the time being.  The end users shouldn't have to contend with bugs and workarounds, especially if being charged for the privilege!

So far so good. For the time being anyway, all of my settings are remembered and working.

Still same problem with the version 1.0.72.117.g6bd7cc73 (Windows Store-Version). Setting the Cache to D:\something even leads to the request to restart the App, but then the same default path in C:\ is presented in options, - nothing changed. Also option "If closing the app, minimize to systray" is not saved. Spotify is really bad in developing / testing, maybe focused on music portfolio too much.

OK, this issue seems to be fixed in current 1.0.73.345.g6c9971ef (Windows Store-Version). It just a pitty that there is no changelog provided or a What's new Readme concering bug fixing or other changes. Information hiding at its best.
